Not as cool as I was hoping

I'm sorry this has taken so long. It's been an interesting week. This is my judge sample entry for

With a glance and a nod, Sailor Dream and Midnight Guardian agree. There are too many of these virtue stealing abominations for individual attacks. She embraces her staff, the Acorn Dream, He hold his scythe, Midnight’s Requiem, at the ready. In unison they take a step, each swinging their weapon to their outside hand.
Patient
Their weapons swing, each of them now holding on with both hands. The violet gems on his blade begin to illuminate as the acorn of her staff does the same.
Reaper
They mirror each other’s movements as they each begin to swing at their foes.
Shadow
Their weapons glow brighter, energy forming at the tops, ready to be launched at the monsters.
Crush
He leaps into the air as she lowers toward the ground, both swinging their weapons with all their force, fast enough and hard enough they each must let go with one hand as the charges they had been growing create waves; one high, one low, each with a tall enough range that it’s impossible to fit between them and come out unharmed. The monsters scream as they energy tears into them, sending them back to the darkness which they were summoned from.

Midnight Guardian and Sailor Dream are part of a much larger team, though sometimes they don’t always fight in one group. Their total team has 3 knights and 7 senshi, Dawn Champion, Dusk Bandit, Midnight Guardian, Sailor Dream, Sailor Smile, Sailor Eyes, Sailor Heart, Sailor Yell, Sailor Kiss, and Sailor Wing.
The monsters they face are summoned from darkness and void by enemies from the Star Hunter Clan. They seek to build their own kingdom, and to do so search for the virtue locked in hearts.
