"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I did that with both my new name and my old name. It doesn't work with the new name, and the old name changed to the new name. That's going to be hilarious if someone uses my old name somewhere and they don't realize I've changed my name.
